I was flying through SFO on United today. I saw Air Canada was using gate 68 for their flights. They have been in Terminal 1 at the same two gates for decades. Why did they decide to move over to Terminal 3?

It happened just within the past coupla months.

It makes a lot of sense, for code-sharing pax xferring twixt UA and AC flights. From UA's 60's thru 80's gates in T3 to Air Canada at Gate 21; that was a twenty-minute walk!!

It really is high time... all the *A carriers should move over that way, although I understand that US probably has a few too many flights.

Which, is within the past coupla months!!

I noticed the change myself in my last visit to SFO, which was coupla weeks ago. Before then my last visit was coupla months ago.

I think the fishy tanks in Terminal 1 could use a bit of attention.

And, when in the heck are they going to be done doing whatever the heck they're doing with old Terminal 2? Wasn't it supposed to just be shops? It doesn't take this long to open shops....
