One of Finnairs' MD-11's have gone in for it's D-Check now, and will be back in service 16FEB (HELJFK). At the same time it will be painted in the new livery. Some long haul flights will be canceled during this period.
Finnair has also responded to the DVT scare. Starting in February, a special programme will be screened on all Finnair long haul and leisure (charter) flights showing inflight exercises to maintain a healthy blood circulation. I think this has been blown out of proportions, but it's nevertheless good to see that some carriers are responding.

I remember that Finnair used to show one of those exercise in your seat programs... I guess it's basically the same thing?
Which long-haul flights will be cancelled and what's the registration of the plane? Please don't let it be OH-LGC as then there will be no more Moomin/Santa Claus special c/s plane
