Just wondering why EK020 from MAN-DXB on 15th November 2007 is down as a B777-200 and not the normal B77W. Im due to fly the route and then onto BNE, i was hoping to have the ICE IFE again for at least one leg of the trip! Anyone got any idea why therehas been a change in aircraft?

Quoting FlyTUITravel (Reply 1): But I think most or all EK 777s now have the ICE system. Correct me if I am wrong.
All 77W, 772, and 77L aircraft have ICE system, but not all 773. So, even though the aircraft may have been changed to 772, there will still be the ICE system. However, the flight to BNE may have the old system and may have ICE.

Thanks everyone for that. I know for a fact the B773 to BNE doesnt have ICE but im in Business so that will balance out the lack of ICE.
Thanks Again

Trust me it does not matter. The 773 J Class product to BNE is deplorable and a disgrace to EK. I have switched to flying to SYD and then shuttling up to BNE until they introduce the 77W and/or non stop on that flight. 15 or so hours in a seat that is the oldest in the fleet and an entertainment system that frequently breaks down is a poor return for the cost of the flight... I would reconsider if i was you and either try the direct service or via BKK to SYD..
