Something Is A Little Off

Have a look at the number and placement of the doors on the UA 727-200 in the back ground. I think that there is an extra door in the place where the door would be on the 727-100. I think that there is another photo of this a/c here, if I can Ifind it I will include it latter.

Odd indeed. That door appears to be just in front of the wing It's further aft then seen on the 721. I'm stumped. Answers, anyone else?

Good observation! Appears to be a 727-200 with an extra door. The door(s) was added probably due to increased pax seating, wouldn't you think? It's probably a '27 with an all-economy layout.
What do you think? What other reason for it could there be?
