the new Avianca " Juan Valdez " 767-200 N988AN is out of the paint shop , but the sad part is that I cant post the picture in here because it belongs to JET********. the awsome thing is that the scheme is in colors and not like the 757 that is all in red , mountains are in green and the house has like a typical " FINCA CAFETERA " Colombian coffee farm colors . I got this mean wile : http://www.myaviation.net/search/photo_search.php?id=01190575

There was something that scheme was missing, couldn't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's just all that white space in the back but the Juan Valdes thing at least on the 757 makes it look great.

Actually, the rules as I understand it are that if this website does not have a photo of that aircraft then you are allowed to post it, but if this website does then you must use the one on this website.

Since Jun 2007, The Federation replace the coffee machines on Avianca's planes and VIP rooms to brew "the best coffee in the world" for Avianca passengers.
This agreement also included the image of Juan Valdez on 3 Avianca's aircraft (1-757, 1 767 and 1 MD83).
So far, we have seen the 757 and a few days ago the 767 was painted with the image, but this one IMHO is much much nicer:
This is the 757 already flying with the image of the Federation:

Hi!
Truly a great "visit card" of AV to the people outside!!! I also try to do a bit of that here in Portugal....I have a "Juan Valdez" shirt that I normally wear and I have portuguese fellows asking me if that guy was the "liberator of Colombia" ( Eh!Eh!Eh!...), then I tell them that in a way he is....when you drink a nice Juan Valdez expresso it TRULY liberates the "smells and tastes" of Colombia in your soul!!!
I can clearly see more and more AV revamping and coming back in such a great way that I'm very pleased.
Regards

Thanks for the pics, it really looks way better in colours. I always thought that a MD-83 was also getting the special logo.....maybe after the holiday season??
For some reason Conchita (The mule) looks abit funny, but I think is really nice.
Hopefully between the 757 and 767 many airports will see this new logo and become truly ambassadors...
