Wonder if there will be any passengers since the flight (NZ084) can't be booked on their website and doesn't even show in the timetable.  boxedin

Very similar schedule to QF. I think they come in at 14:30 and leave at 18:30 although its to SFO?

Such a pity, every airline flies into YVR is making their planes so dirty. I hope AF joins the party soon btw.

It's over for Quantas, it seems they've already dropped the towel @ YVR. Direct non-stops from Air Canada and Air New Zealand are on the radar as we speak. Quantas had a good window of opportunity to serve YVR but they've chosen to do it via SFO eventually creaming off some unhappy AC' customers .... Nova days, I doubt they could even afford to promote launch and sustain a direct SYD to YVR.

What do you mean?

The nice thing about a mistake is the pleasure it gives others.

Hello folks. Quick question that maybe someone here might be able to help out with.
I know GSM were a bit of a dirty word at YVR last Summer, but I need to ask a couple of questions relating to them.
#1, what is the situation on their ETOPS now?
and
#2, they have advertised YVR-YYC-DUB for next Summer, but their website is now showing a direct YVR-DUB service.
Sure, it could be a web error. Just wanted to make sure.
I spend a lot of the year in Ireland and (even though it's GSM), a non-stop route from YVR would be a dream for me.
Thanks.
