Quoting Milan320 (Reply 3): Great but perhaps it should be called BoeingBlogger .... Anything not to do with Boeing ever on his blog in the past?
/Milan320
Well maybe you should start an "Airbusblogger" site. BTW, Jon is going to be covering more than just the 787 or Boeing on his sight.

Hey hey !!! That is for WINGS to do list next
While it would be nice to see an Airbus blog, I dont thing there is enough going on with their two most active programmes at the moment (A380 & A350) to warrent a fresh blog every few days.
Im delighted to see Jons blog return because it offers a true and unbiased insight into the 787 programme, unlike Randys blog!

While jon seems to have more contacts than most, his blog is still that, a blog. Its not official, you never know what people's agenda's are(the people he gets info from), and so on. We have others on the site that talk to people from boeing(or so they say) and some of that doesnt get nearly the credibility that his blog gets for some reason. Again, until it comes out of boeing's mouths, it is still speculation.

That has been true of all sources of information ranging from traveling bards to the Wall Street Journal since the dawn of human intelligence (125,000 years?). Blogs and the Internet generally have just made that more apparent to people outside the very small world of the owners of the traditional media (and the even smaller world of the academic professors of the theory of knowledge).

Yep, it's true, I'll be relaunching later this week! I'll let you know what I'm up to VERY SOON. The blog will have a new URL and I'll let you all know where it'll be. I'll have A LOT more time to devote to it also. I'll be covering a lot more than just the 787 from here on out.
I'll be relaunching with a bang!

Huh? I, for one, always assumed that his blog, although unofficial, was sanctioned (or at least authorised) by Boeing. A sort of "connection" to the airline enthusiasts community, if I can put it this way. Hence the "exclusive" great pictures of the 787 early stages, and the interruption when trouble was on the horizon. Now that everything seems to be back on track, the blog starts again...

Welcome back, Jon! May I suggest adding a legal disclaimer onto that website of yours for YOUR protection? You might want to do that.... I have already done that on my MySpace.

Correct me if I'm wrong but did the federal court in some where in US rule that bloggers enjoy the same protection than normal journalist does? But I agree disclaimer is best way to protection.
