A great new commercial from Aloha Airlines. It is apparently the 1st of a series of four which will be running in Hawai'i for the next few months. It shows Aloha's employees at work, and says a lot in its simplicity. I get "chickenskin" every time I see it.

It reminds me alot of the AA commercials from 2001-2002 (TWA Merger and post 9/11).

-Aloha!

P.S. It appears the ad was posted on YouTube by Aloha Airlines. The user who posted it goes by the same name as Aloha's old employee web portal, aqourairline. Perhaps this means future Aloha Airlines commercials we be posted on YouTube....it can't hurt....free advertising. Maybe other airlines will follow.

-Aloha!

Very nice advert, I would like to see more airlines do something like this because it's often the staff that make an airline great.

Nice spot, very nearly the same as the Discovery Airways spot from years ago, but not nearly as emotional.

I like it. It clearly resembles the culture of the airline and it's not really flashy. It has some element to it that I really like, but I can't seem to put my finger on it.

I love it! Makes me proud to be a part of the AQ ohana!

Also, it's great to see a little of KOA in it, too!

I have access to the spot you refer to, so let me see if I can do it.

I've the other three int he series in rotation now on local TV.

They pose the following questions 3 per commercial):

"Who flies much needed blood for the Blood Bank of Hawai'i?"
"Who transports endangered animals so they can fly again?"
"Who walks and runs hundreds of miles each year for charity?"

"Who keeps our culture alive through the support of Keiki (Children's) Hula?"
"Who gets our beloved sports teams to their games?"
"Who also serves our country with pride?"

"Who throws birthday parties for children without homes?"
"Who mentors and offers opportunities to our young people through an explorers program?"
"Who provides vital cargo service to all of the islands?"

And then show the groups of employees from the "big" ad above saying "We Do!" after each question.

The closing line in these 3 commercials is:

"We're Aloha, ands its more than just our name.....its our Mission."

These ads really do a great job of showing Aloha Airlines and all they, and their employees, do for our community and their customers.

-Aloha!

Do they mention the noise they must cause for the Islands population with those noisy 'new' 732s!

No they don't.

Interisland flights are almost exclusively over water so you rarely hear them (even if you try really hard).

Aloha's 732s are well maintained and a joy to fly on. Find another plane that can do what the 732 can I'm sure Aloha would take them in a minute. The simple fact is that no other aircraft is as suited for the interisland market and has the ability to do cargo as well.

Great ads for a great airline.....and a very cool complement to Hawaiian's really good "That's our Hawai'i" series produced by High Schools in Hawai'i.

Strange, I haven't heard about people in Hawaii complaining, seems like the only ones who bring this up are people who live thousands of miles away.  scratchchin

Well, 732s are loud, but I doubt they are so loud we can hear yours on the mainland...  Wink

732's are not that bad since while they are loud, they get up and leave.

Turboprops flying low and slow are far more annoying.

Nevermind the MD80's which wake me up more often than the life-flight helicopter which I am roughly the same altitude as the landing pad (which is 1/4 mile away LOS) and has a flight path over my apartment.
