New Short-Haul Y "Snackbox" Concept On OS

Hey Everyone-

I was just on Austrian's website and the new DO&CO Snackbox concept for Short-haul flights in Y was featured. The design of the packaging looks quite appealing, but I was wondering if anybody by chance knew what the contents are like? The website advertises it as being a product of DO&CO, a reputable Austrian caterer- as such, I would expect the contents to be beyond the typical Sandwich+Candy Bar formula seen on so many short haul European flights in Y.

KLM do something similar, its amazing how much can be fit into a small box with some clever packpaging and design.

urgh... I sincerely hope it's better than the joke of a "snack box" you get on the longer DL flights...

best thing on the DL ones is the "ENJOY" printed all over the thing.... every time I get one of those I can't help the thought of some designer having been very sarcastic.... Wink

At the beginning of the year I was flying ZRH-VIE and vv. once a week. I always liked the snack box. Food was much better then the chees sandwich on LX.

I had the snack box VIE-FRA on OS in June and it could never be confused with the US Domestic carriers. It was very well done.

We tend to have a very dry sense of humor, not much different than the ham sandwiches that the snack boxes replaced. Wink

Least Euro airlines give a Sandwich and not a load of salted garbage and bird seeds like some US domestic carriers.
