Last week when I was arriving at GRU in Sao Paulo I saw a Boeing 727 painted entirely in two shades of lime green with the large white letters "FLY" along the vertical stabilizer.

It's apparently a low cost no frills airline in Brasil, but I have been unable to find any information about it on the internet.

Can anyone here tell me more or provide some links.

It was the ugliest paint scheme that I had ever seen.

I flew with them last year between GIG and GRU. They operate 2 or 3 727s bought from Royal Air Maroc. They've lost a 727 a couple of years ago in a crash but I can't remember the details. Anyway, the service on board is inexistant and the airport staff doesn't speak english at all.

Falcon....like a limo but with wings

OO-AOG

Thanks for the reply............

I saw a very small newspaper ad in Folha de Sao Paulo
from them.....R$100 (about $50 USD) from GRU to GIG.

Other than that your description fits my mental image of the airline, based on the aircraft that I saw.

I saw a FLY 727 at GIG back in September. They were originally a charter company but began scheduled service about 2 years ago. They're on par with VIABRASIL and the new low cost carrier Gol. They're web site is:
