I just found a picture of a Kuwait Airways 747-400 in IAH.

What was it doing there. Kuwait Airways doesn't have regular service to IAH do they?

Kuwait Airways' 744 is used for VIP use only and not regular scheduled service. Perhaps the Emir was checking out the oil fields in Texas

I saw this 744 at Beirut Airport 3 years ago. It came along with an A310 "State of Kuwait". Kuwaiti vice emir Mr. Sabah was on a visit to Lebanon. Only 25-30 people boarded the aircraft for a flight back to Kuwait.
A 310 flew back empty!!! Now that's what I call a money spending.

Yes indeed ... the 747's in Kuwait Airways colours are used by Jaber ..... he is the Emir of Q8....
