Question for any knowledgeable AC staff or travel agents:

I am considering purchasing the online offering of a winter getaway pass for the one-month Jan 05 - Feb 08 period. The cost, based upon two travelers in the western zone comes to CAD $1009.12, GST included.

I understand the restrictions placed upon travel such as days of the week you can fly, but before I place my order, does this price include any of the usual taxes & fees (AIF, security charges, Nav Canada charges, fuel surcharges, passenger duties etc)? I would hate to buy a 'bargain' only to find I'm forced to tack on another couple hundred dollars per segment as per Aeroplan reward travel. There is no mention of the imposition of extra charges on the website.

Calls to AC are mired in recorded messages. Can anyone who has used such a pass or works as a travel agent or AC reservations staff member shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance,

I would try logging on to www.flyertalk.com Select MILES then Select Air Canada/ AEROPLAN. Those people will be able to help you out.
