Tommorrow, the first 77W based in the State of Qatar will arrive in Doha marking the end of Qatar's all-Airbus policy. It will be A7-BAA and used for Dubai starting Dec. 1, and Washington from January.
The seating is very generous, with Business class in a classic 2+2+2 layout, becoming flat beds!

Judging from the seat map posted on their website, the new J/C seat on QR 77W will be fully flat instead of lie-flat. Just like the new J/C seat QF will introduce on their A380, which will be fully flat also.

Nice Business Class cabin on the 773ER, I'm surprised there is no First Class given how large the airplane is. I can't wait until New York sees the 777 nonstop to Doha, an A330 via GVA just isn't the same.

Congratulations to Qatar Airways for their first B777.300ER.
Since the first time I saw it on Airliners.net I fall in love with it coz it looks Amazing from the outside & I was Dying to see how dose it look from the inside and for sure it look Great.
Finally my wish for the Business class seats came true and they are have flat beds the 2-2-2 configuration is very generous a small lounge would be very welcomed to make the product truly 5 star or even a standing snack bar like on the new BA club world or on SIA A380.
Over all looks very good compared to what emirates have on their business in fact this product looks like what Emirates offer on some of it's B777 first class.

QR needs to have the B 773ERs in a 2 class configuration to fly them on medium/long haul routes where there is potentially high density demand but low demand for F class especially. This is probably why routes such as IAD is getting the B 77W ahead of others as its a long haul flight which sees demand mainly in Y class and a little in J but hardly anything in F. Also it needs to use the B 773ERs on nonstop USA flights as this aircraft's CASM is lower than the A 346!
Nice, I will be on that flight that day, coming from LAX and continuing on to AUH. Got a great deal on that flight, too bad I'm flying Y class and won't get to experience business. I was wondering which aircraft they will use on that flight, because when I went on Qataraiways.com it showed it as the A346, but then my itinerary showed it as the 77W. So, are you sure it will be the 77W?
Maybe in the future; QR has 14 77W on order, and probably it will use one in LHR sometime in the next two years--although I see other more important routes such as Australia, USA, Canada, South America, ect..
