And then you run into Flight Options' pilots, and they tell you they're barely hanging on. One pilot told me he doesn't think they'll be around in 12 months, go figure.
About the news, congratulations to Embraer for braking into the very important US fracional-Jet market.

Congradulations for EMBRAER breaking into this market. I've been following EMBRAER's progress on the Phenom jets in Flying magazine and any business articles. Seems like they've made leaps and bounds in all markets in a relatively short amount of time. I hope it works out well. The aircraft seem a bit pricey though, but in the long run it seems as the jets would pay for themselves as far as commanality on the flight deck, as well as maintanence issues. Kudos, EMBRAER, for a job well done!
Cheers,
Larry

Well Options already flies the Legacy so it's nothing new to them to operate an Embrear, although 100 new Phenoms is certainly something

I agree. This is a segment of the air market that is really fresh and will pose a powerful marketing tool in the future. Glad to see Embraer get their foot in the proverbial door for this in the very lucrative US marketplace!

Are there any pics of what the flight deck looks like? I'm curious as to whether it looks like the ERJ series, or if it has the Large multi-function displays.
