Air India Aids Awareness Livery On The A320(Pic)

Hey guys:

I must congratulate AI on finally being a little dynamic by coming out with a new livery on one of their A320's. I also think its about time these buses are called "Air India's" instead of the old Indian Airlines.

This bird is very very red! Even the under side of the wings and horiz. stabs are painted red! Finally something new to spot at BOM and other airport in India.

I think this is a good start for AI, specially for their PR department. They gotta do stuff like this to get peoples attention.

Reacting to your comment above, I notice that the tail does have Air-India on it.....not Indian Airlines....so, what were you referring to....?

I was referring to the information fields on airliners.net for Indian Airlines aircraft, if you open the photo it will be listed at Indian Airlines.

Ha ha true, makes me think this is an old A320 of Indian Airlines, AFAIK, the new deliveries are all single bogey.

The c/n (058) also indicates that it is an 'old' A320, as well as the double bogies. This special colourscheme has certainly given the aircraft a fresh look, which many IC A320s could do with.

Thats a great color scheme and the right message to send in 2007. Red is a very "big" color, it advances whereas blue and other "cool" colors tend to recede.

Red is a great color for A230s and 737s, even RJs, it makes them seem more exciting.
