How many of Delta's 777 aircraft have the more modernized standard Business Class cabin? Are there any changes to the economy cabin of these aircraft as well?
I am sure many will tell me to do a search for this question but........When will DL see the newest Business Class cabin added to their 777 fleet? I am referring to the ones with the angles seats (just like Air Canada's new product). I have been exploring their website for a while and have not see any info regarding this?
TY

All of the 777-200ERs have the refurbished BusinessElite seats in leather rather than cloth. The Economy cabin also has leather seat covers. All seats have the new Panasonic eFX digital AVOD IFE, which replaced the tape-based Rockwell Collins TES system with looped video. Delta is largely eliminating non-Panasonic/MAS IFE systems from their fleet. The domestic 767-400ERs currently use a Rockwell Collins system, however, they will all have the Panasonic eFX system by 2009 when they are all converted to international configuration. The ex-TWA 757s currently feature a Sony Transcom (now part of Rockwell Collins) system, but they will also start to get the Panasonic eFX system later this month or in early January. The 777-200LRs will have the Panasonic eX2 system, a widebody exclusive system with greater storage capacity over the eFX.
Also, the EmPower ports in BusinessElite have been replaced by regular AC power. All EmPower ports have been removed in Economy, however, the first 10 rows feature AC power.

That is what I love about this website. Come back after a few minutes and there are already answers to the posted question. Thank you Delta folks.
