Wonder who they are placing these with?

Where is the love for the 787?

Doubt CO would be getting such a small subfleet, even if leased. IMHO, not below 5 jets.

Out of Boeing's customers, GE has made the most orders for 737s...

Forgot about that little airline from Dallas, did they?

My guess is they're to be leased to PIA, PAL, or NZ, because they have small fleets of 77Ws.

GECAS not ordering the 787. That must say something. I'm thinking they just acted way too late and other lessors got ahead of them. The 787 has 161 orders from lessors...that's over 20% of the existing order book and with delivery slots sold out until 2017 they will have to wait a long time for that. They would probably have to wait equally as long for the A350.

AF uses ILFC as their lessor.

Who is PAL? and NZ does not have a fleet of 77W's. They currently use (8) 772ER in their fleet. They placed a firm 4/3 order back on 3rd Aug. 07'.

Also does not NZ & PK use ILFC for leasing not GECAS?

I would hope for that though but I think CO would need at least 6-8 77W's to make it worthwhile.

So is this from what their order back in June when they increased their fleet/order from 2/2 to (6) firm (2) coming from GECAS?

...53 737-800s...

Like the famous "When will NWA retire its D9?" thread, I think its now an appropriate time to now say "When will Boeing shut down the 737 line?"  rotfl

Disclaimer: I'm only kidding, seriously! The 737 is going on strong as ever! Congrats to Boeing!
