Didn't see this posted so local DC media reporting that crew smelled something unusual and decided to divert.

Are strange odors common? Do they always cause diversions?

Question is: what strange odor? If there is some smell of smoke or fire: then I want to divert for sure! If I dont know where it is coming from! Then I want to land ASAP...

So it depends on the type of odor you smell.... If it smells like a yummy steak with veggies and potatoes I wont divert! I just wait until diner is ready and enjoy it Big grin

Hopefully it wasn't another strange odor from a lav. backing up.
