This is great news. Most glad over the ZAG service.

Quoting Bofredrik (Reply 3): I wonder why SAS is not doiing more in Russia.
I'm not sure if there is a market... Also getting passed the Russian authorities could be interesting!
But congratulations to SAS!! I'm especially happy to for Stavanger... my old home in Norway.. Now SAS connects SVG internationally with ARN, CPH, LHR, ALC and ABZ direct! Also NCL if we include Widerøe!
I wonder what the equipment type will be.. MD8X or 737NG to SVG?
Next Flights: LHR-OSL (319), OSL-LHR (321), LHR-ARN (320), ARN-VXO (S34), VXO-BMA (ATP), ARN-LHR (763), LHR-CPH (320), C

AFAIK both new routes to Norway will be flown by a mix of 737 and MD-80
SAS Sweden seems to have had quite a bit of success with their routes to Norway. They opened ARN-TRD last winter (initially flown by a Q400, but are now using 737/MD) and ARN-BGO that began as a summer route is now a full year route. If I remember correctly ARN-BGO is something like Dx6

Quoting BrisseDK (Reply 2): So now TOS is connected to OSL, ARN and LGW, but still no CPH. Come on SAS Denmark, get your skates on!
SAS tried CPH-TOS-CPH back in 1997. Not a success, although things might have changed. The problem with CPH-TOS is that it's a 2,5hr flight and the demand are rather low, something that will destroy the yields.
For SAS is it better to fly passengers TOS-OSL-CPH instead on TOS-CPH and both routes have good frequency

With all due respect; that is 10 years ago! SK is a completely different company (or companies) now, and even the markets has developed very positively in the last few years. If SK can make CPH-AJR work, I'd say a seasonal CPH-TOS would be piece of cake!

Quoting SKAirbus (Reply 10): BTW did anyone mention the new routes from CPH to Kiev and Bucharest starting in April next year? Not sure if there was already a topic about that!
