that a/c has been plagued with problems since it rolled out. i've noticed it being re-routed out to SFO more than a handful of times. sorry I don't have any specific info on the flight, I just hope the next 777 and 747 we roll out won't have these problems...

Does the aircraft route IAD-FRA-IAD? If so, that plane was having problems on the evening of the 16th as well- I arrived at IAD at the gate opposite the FRA flight, and they were announcing a mechanical delay for that flight as I was entering the terminal.

When they finally put that POS DC10 in the desert, the aircraft router entered into the CURRTG in Unimatic (the CURRTG is the aircraft's routing in the computer system) the remark, "They Called Her Christine"
It was one of our last passenger 10s, and ended up flying ORD-HNL-ORD on UA43 and back, or the afternoon ORD-BWI turn. Once a week that POS was broken, usually with a hydraulic issue; and I was always working the DC10 pilot desk at the time.

Could this possibly affect other FRA-IAD flights on UA? I'm booked on UA933 tomorrow (12/19) FRA-IAD, which is listed as a 772 aircraft. It's the last flight to IAD that evening, so I guess if it gets cancelled, I'll be overnighting in FRA.
