The fashion show featured 28 Northwest flight attendants and customer service employees from the U.S. and Asia who modeled the new uniforms. An NWA Employee Involvement Team (EIT), consisting of employees from various work groups, led the new uniform initiative and worked collaboratively with employees and the designer on every aspect of the design process. The new uniforms are the first redesign in nearly 17 years. Flight attendants and airport customer service employees will begin wearing the new uniforms in fall 2008.

I was not sure about the new uniforms, but after seeing them in movement, they look a whole lot better. Wish they would reserve the periwinkle sweaters for the in flight crew while the red for the ground crew.
The journey of life is not based on the accomplishments, but the experience.

I love the red vests, red cardigans, 1-piece women's dresses w/ buckles, the vertically striped aprons are hot (grey is in for fall 2007...haha), & I'm also digging the couvre-chef foulards around the neck. Have to give them +++ for using their own F/A's instead of some primped size double-0 models. The suits leave something to be desired though, as usual American tailoring is loose. They should have sought out Savile Row...or Marc Jacobs NY haha. It's certainly not Lagerfeld's Chanel in Paris, but they have good pieces.

I liked the video but I don't like their new uniforms. No offense to the NWA people but to me, they look cheap and outdated. Maybe they look different in person though.

The knitwear does not look very flattering and that blue reminds me of KLM not NWA !! Sorry but i always think of Red with NWA .. It is a pity that they could not be tailored a bit more .. Too many uniforms these days are not tailored !!! Sorry some ok elements i love the red vest but other than that some of it is just too bland .. The blue to me should be replaced with the red of NWA !!
