Southern Air B747F Runs Into Building At CAI

Looks like somebody forgot to apply the brakes in time. Southern Air B74F overran the tarmac
and hit a cargo building in CAI. See below

As far as i know only one person was hospitalised from broken arm and leg as he tried to put some wooden blocks in front of the wheels.A huge disaster was avoided as there was fuel tanks just beyond where the plane stopped.

Looks repairable...but then again, I'm no aircraft structure engineer either. Glad to hear that no one was killed.

Why would it be refuelling in Cairo, Egypt when it is going from Ethiopia to Belgium ?

If fuel is cheaper in CAI, then it makes sense by all means to take on more there and less at its next destination.
