Quoting Airfoilsguy (Thread starter): This is a cool video! It has probably been posted before but I am sure some people have not seen it. The amount of thrust is amazing.
Quoting OHLHD (Reply 3): That looks more like training and the video says "touch and go" and not go around.
Special permission granted for touch and go at ABZ for promotional/PR purposes..no pax on board. Reason is simple runway at ABZ was simply too short to accomodate Concorde for a full stop landing/take off.

Nice videos.
Particularly interesting was the one to Iceland, a charter.
Brought back memories, the sounds, the attitude on take off and landing, my last Concorde flight, the penultimate one ever, G-BOAE to BGI, took off in similar conditions.
It was pissing it down on a BA001 to JFK in November 2002 as well.
It looked like the F/O was Barbara Harmer on this charter, a 4th cockpit crew member was not unusual on these sorts of flights too, providing a lot of extra narration for the pax, as we heard, as well as general PR/pax interaction stuff.
Here is what the rest of the BA Concorde fleet did on the day of that charter;

The guy who filmed it states it was indeed taken at LBA as I expected, so not sure where ABZ fits into this ...

I looked at the comment posted by the flyer who has made the video:
I hope this short film gives you some experience of sights and sounds from inside the cabin of Concorde. It was sad to see AA lifeless in the Museum but I am please to see that it is housed with tender loving care. If you listen carefully, you will hear
the roar of the take-off, the increased wind noise as the landing gear is extended, the reflection of the noise from the tarmac as we came in to land. You'll notice in the cockpit that our First Officer was Barbara Harmer, the first and only woman Concorde pilot. Apologies for the vertical banding in the cockpit shot. This seems to be the feature of the mp4 compression. In the cockpit, you may notice that the airspeed was 386kts, the height was 31,400ft, the Mach meter was reading 1.01 -- so the video of the flight deck was as we were passing through the speed of sound! I'll upload some clips without backing music so that it is easier to hear the cabin sounds

This Air France Concorde was filmed during training cessions at Chateauroux (CHR) for pilots when the Concorde flights were resumed in 2001 after the grounding.

If you read the comments on the video you'll see that it was filmed at Leeds airport (LBA) not CHR.

EXACTLY
If you listen carefully you will hear one of the female spectators speaking at 0:44 saying, "He will do a touch and go now."
The most believeable probablity is that she was referring to some type of published program when she made her statement, for she could have had no knowledge that the aircraft landing in front of her would be required to do a touch and go in a few seconds.

That could well have been me in the water there.. Had her fly directly overhead numerous times as a kid.. She was often the highlight of spotting while swimming in the ocean.. and I'll stop reminiscing now as the weather here in Canada sucks royally at the moment..
I don't care what you think of my opinion. It's my opinion, so have a nice day :)
