With AC to sell off their whole fleet of Airbus A340s by the end of 2008 and with one of them being painted in Star Alliance Colors will any of AC's Boing 777s be replacing the one A340 in Star Alliance Collors?

Perhaps, with the painting of said 330, they're planning on having a Star scheme for each type of widebody they operate. It wouldn't suprise me to see the scheme on one of next year's 77W's.

Quoting YOWza (Reply 3): I have nothing against these alliance liveries but please for the love of god can we have one that's not so bland?
Yeah I know. If its going to be white at least put the Star Alliance logo all over the plane like a pattern, or use different colored star logos.

I remember back in the day when each of the original 6 airlines had one plane that had the paint schemes of all five of the members over part of the aircraft.

With so many airlines associated with that alliance, cant they put their heads together to come up with an impressive livery?

I hope not, I also think the Star schemes are boring as hell. Even the one with bits of paint schemes of all member airlines. It looks like a car put together with junkyard bits and pieces.
What would really be cool on the 777 would be a retro paint scheme. We already have a TCA retrojet (A319). How about a 777 in the *original* red scheme, with black Air Canada, black anti-glare nose, white maple leaf on the tail? That would rock!

That BD Star livery A320 is still flying around today, they really should update it, half the airlines on it are no longer in Star for one reason or another
