According to some old info, 2008 deliveries are Feb, Mar and Dec.
2009 deliveries are 3 in Jan, and 2 others by the end of Mar09. I believe that 2 additional are now on order for total of 10LR's.

Those planes will feature the new cabin already? When will the rest of the long haul fleet receive the new fully flat C Class etc?

I also read that Anderson sent a memo to employees saying the first 777LR will be dedicated to Delta people worldwide (sort of like the old Spirit of Delta)

What will the total config of the new aircraft be?

Have registrations been assigned?

Finally, what routes are still being looked at for the new aircraft; presumably further orders are dependant on new routes being assigned, such as rights to China?

Good to see DL investing in its inflight service; looking forward to seeing these new aircraft!

Yes, while Delta only has eight 777-200LRs on order, Delta has reserved 29 registrations for them. The registration range is N701DN-N730DN, with the exceptions of N704DK, N711DY, and N714DY, as the DN suffixes were taken for those regs. N701DN and N702DN are currently assigned to Boeing, but will be the first two 777-232LRs for Delta.

first 3 will be JFK based JFK-BOM-JFK and when the 3rd gets here i would guess they will try to get a NRT slot for JFK-NRT(i don't know for sure but the ATL-JFK-BOM-JFK-ATL drops in the ATL leg in the summer i think it is)

also the 772ER on that route will go to ATL-PVG

77L 43F 233Y(276)
772ER 50F 218 (268)
all T7s will have lie-flats by 2008
and the 767s will get lie-flats by 2010(and right now 30 will get winglets but they have options for all 763ERs,752s and 737s to get winglets(73Gs will come from Boeing with them))

yep.

BTW, I have read in some article that the 767 fleet will get sleeper suites more like those on United. The sleeper suites that United is installing (made by B/E Aerospace) seems more appropriate for a 767, as the Contour Premium suites must be arranged in a herring-bone layout, and since the 767 is a bit too narrow, you can only fit three abreast, which is somewhat a limitation. The B/E Aerospace sleeper suites, on the other hand, are arranged in a parallel back-to-back layout, which will allow for six abreast, although with fewer rows than the Contour Premium suites, will still allow for more total BusinessElite seats on the 767.

i don't know it off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure its 2 in Q1 (08) then 1 in Q3(08) then 2 Q1 (09) 1 Q2(09) then 2Q4(09) I'm not sure about those numbers but they are close. I will look and see if i can get better dates.

BTW they have 2 or 3 more options for 2009 and the rest of there options are for 2010

Wouldn't this reduce the number of seats they will have in J? Just because it's a better seat won't mean they can sell it for more. People will still look at them as a U.S. carrier and i'm pretty sure by then, the international guys will be ahead with something else (as usual LOL).

I saw the seating chart for the 77L in Delta's China application. Is there a link to the 772ER seating chart?

Well, on the 767-300ERs, Delta could actually increase the size of the BusinessElite cabin, and to make up for the lost capacity in Economy, install slimline seats. This is exactly what Delta is doing on their 777-200LRs.

On the 767-400ER, Delta could add a second smaller BusinessElite cabin aft of the second set of exits and install slimline seats in Economy. The 777-200ER BusinessElite cabin is split into two sections, and so will the 777-200LRs.

Do you mean for their current layout or the layout that they will feature after the new sleeper suites are installed?

If you mean their current layout, here is a map right here:

I was looking for a seating chart of the current 777s after the new suites are installed (wondering if it will be the same as the 77L). It may not be available yet, I was just curious.

As an aside, when the first 77L is delivered will it immediately go international, or will it break in on domestic routes for a little while?

The first day the 777LR shows up in the schedule doing JFK-BOM is March 30th. Of course this will probably change, but it probably gives an indication that the 2nd LR will show up around this time. Anyone know what the first 777LR will be doing when it shows up?

Actually, March 30 will be the latest possible date the LR can be deployed into scheduled service given that ATL-PVG starts on that day. They will need to make sure they have the ERs for PVG on March 30.

When can we expect the first PAE pic's from the Everett facility? This will truly be a proud day for DL!

Since there is no difference in exit layout between the 777-200ER and 777-200LR, I assume the layout will be the same.

BTW they have 2 or 3 more options for 2009 and the rest of there options are for 2010

Here is the list of scheduled delivery dates (key emphasis on 'scheduled'):

7101: 2/28/08
7102: 3/31/08
7103: 12/31/08
7104: 1/31/09
7105: 1/31/09
7106: 1/31/09
7107: 2/28/09
7108: 3/31/09
7109: 6/30/10
7110: 7/31/10
7111: 9/30/10

And that's all that is showing up in the system right now for 777LR's. I do not believe that there has been an announcement regarding 7109 and 7110, and 7111 is still just an option.
