The Big Sky 1900D's were never in the old colours. There are pics on A.net of them in the new ones. However, those aircraft will be going away soon as Big Sky ends its partnership with Delta and effectively closes up shop.

Saw my first Delta NC at Fort Lauderdale last Friday, it was 752 N615DL. She was sitting at gate and they miraculeously moved her and managed to get nice photos of it, hope to see many more soon!

Tomas.

Doesnt seem like they are in a big hurry to repaint the MD-88s... I've seen quite a few that could desperately use it.. But as we all know, there is a schedule

RIP Song! Thank God that livery is now part of history.

BTW, N721TW (ETOPS 757) is now in service in new colors as well. You might want to add that N695CA is in special 30th anniversary colors also.

Happy New Year!

Why is there one of these threads every month since the livery change? Seems to be a waste of time and pointless.
I do not see anyone doing USAirways, United, or Spirit.

As do I. I'm sure that there are many people who find the DL livery threads informative. After all, each month they seem to get quite a few posts!

What is the point on knowing what airplane is going to be painted, or what ones have been. They are all going to be painted at some point. I can see this post to be more of a quarterly post instead of every month. Or when a new aircraft has been painted that hasn't already been seen. ie. B764, MD90, every other type DL has has atleast one painted.

The 757s in the Song livery were on a mass repaint schedule. Delta CEO Richard Anderson stated that he wanted all of their aircraft to carry the Delta name, not any other brand name, by 2008. Now with all the Song aircraft repainted, I personally think that the 757s and 767s in the Ron Allen livery should be targeted next. There are no MD-88s currently in the Ron Allen livery.

Does anyone have a list of aircraft still in Ron Allen colors?

Thanks for your support DL Widget Head & Delta4eva - It is a monthly thread as it becomes too long as at each update the list gets posted again - still the best way to keep current!!.

For D328, the really frightening thing is that I can also produce lists for US Airways plus Express, NWA, United plus UA Express, JAL, Air India, Thai, Virgin Atlantic and Air Canada, and maybe tempted to start a thread for each of them!!

Seriously, I need to get a life (however, bit late now) - but I'm happy and content and enjoy my part of a wide-ranging hobby. Each to their Own!!

You don't see it because US is mostly done, UA paints about 1 plane per year, and Spirit is TOO new for its own thread yet.
