A Virgin 737 of some description (may have been Pacific Blue) was met by 3 fire vehicles (and chased by another) as it landed in Sydney this afternoon (2008/01/05). As it turned off the runway, they all followed it.

From what I could see, the right engine didn't have any reverse thrust. Did it land on 1 engine only?

Anyone else have inside knowledge of what happened to this 737?

I don't know what was up, but I can tell you the DJ bird was carrying Pacific Blue titles. If it is of any interest to you, I saw various fire-vehicles running up and down the taxiways leadng to 16L as well as the runway proper.

Another DJ incident this week. A few days ago a Pacblue had a tail scrape on take off.
