Hello everybody. According to a recent article that appeared in the Empresas section of the Invertia financial news portal ( http://mx.invertia.com ), ALMA will begin GDL-LAS flights in February. According to this article, ALMA is possibly going to launch GDL-SAT flights a few months afterwards.
Does anybody have more info on this proposed new route? I tried to log on to ALMA's site but it was not working properly. I wonder how large their fleet is by now (all-Canadair, right?), and whether ALMA will need more planes for these two new routes.

Thanks for the news Eddie. This little airline could be something in a few years. Hopefully they'll add LAS and SAT, and those 15 CRJs are added to the fleet. I must admit I didn't think much of them at first. Best of luck to them

Thanks for the info, its great news that their expanding; its too bad they haven't considered anything to SoCal, like ONT or LAX though, maybe one of those will follow next. Either way its great news

I think ALMA considered SoCal before any other region, but the pickings keep getting smaller between Souhtern Cal and Mexico. Not much room left, but eventually they'll end up there.
