Noticed on Delta.com that they will be running a 777 as Delta 9735 on February 04 from ATL-PHX. No return with the 777 on the 04th. So who is it chartered for on the out flight?
What other airlines will be flying the heavies to the Superbowl?

No return with the 777 on the 04th.

According to their eTimetable, it goes back as 9734. The flight also operates on Friday, February 1 with same times and flight numbers.

ATL-PHX, 9735
10:20a 12:49p

PHX-ATL, 9734
2:00p 7:37p

The flight is bookable, but to take the 777 to PHX for the weekend costs nearly $800 from ATL.

Hopefully someone gets some good shots.

Not a chartered flight per se, but an extra section added because of the obvious crush of people flying into PHX to see the game.

Very cool to see DL add 777 service for the Super Bowl! Last year Delta also had scheduled 757 service from GNV and CMH to PHX for the BCS National Championship game. It's good to see them continue in the spirit of that service.

On Feb 1.st you can get U-fares on the PHX-ATL 777 for $191 one-way, since there's no game rush out of Phoenix.

However, getting back might be a problem.
