I am going on a family holiday to Ecuador in June for a couple of weeks. While in Ecuador I have discovered we are flying, I believe with TAME, UIO-OCC and back, and UIO-GPS (I think it stops in GYE). I had a seach on the TAME website but they didn't seem to list types used, and I know they have quite a diverse fleet. I just wondered if anyone could tell me what equipment TAME use on those routes. Also does anyone know what are the chances of getting a jumpseat on domestic flights in Ecuador?
Once you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned forever skyward

My family was looking into the Galapagos as well, as of June 2007 TAME had 727-100's, 727-200's, and was getting receiving brand new EMB-170LR's. I think the 727's mostly fly to and from the Galapagos (San Cristobal is it called?). Hope this helps. Not really sure of the status of their 727's.
