SIA 3 Class 772's Into PER

I have checked out SIA's website and they have seat plans for 2 and 3 class 772's. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if SIA flies the 2 or 3 class 772 to PER.

SIA only used 3 Class B772 for flight into PER. The 2 class B772 was mainly used for South East Asia regional trunk route like SIN--KUL. On July last year I was on my flight to PER from KUL with SIA. The KUL--SIN was a 2 class B772 and the SIN--PER was the 3 class B772. Most of their B777 was well maintained, clean and have reasonable good seat pitch in 3-3-3 economy configurations. Hope you'll enjoy it if you are going to onboard any one of it.

I will be flying J Class from PER to SIN and back. The reason I asked whether the 772's are 3 class is because (based on the seat diagrams), I booked seats 11 H and K. To my understanding, this will be the first row of J class so more leg room.

Do you know the pitch of business class seats on SIA 772's and whether they are the new Givenchy design seats?

Well, this is not quite what you want but just a point of inetrest anyway. SIA has a "unique" way of numbering their seat rows on ALL their aircraft, regardless of seat config and aircraft type used. They are as follow:

First class ALWAYS start from Row 1 onwards
J (Raffles/Business) Class ALWAYS from Row 11 onwards
Y (economy) Class ALWAYS start from Row 31 onwards.

So, if you're flying J Class and have booked Row 11, you'll always guarenteed to get the 1st row of J Class...Only diff is you're either at the front of the plane (2 Class 772) or somewhere near the front (3 class 772)...

p/s : Sorry I was not able to tell u more abt their J Class seats and pitch... Haven't flown on them for a while now..

Sorry to tell you it wasn't the new Givenchy designed seats. The seats wasn't as wide and as spacious as the Givenchy seats. I wasn't sure about the seat pitch but something for sure around 45-50 inch. Below is the pictures of it.

Hope you'll enjoy your flight and in most cases J class will be mainly served by Leading Stewardess (green uniform) and other higher ranking crew. SIA have special business class postcards and amenities kits with Hugo Boss Elements Aqua EDT for men.
