Myrtle Beach Direct Air have added another new destination - Plattsburgh, 3xWeek

Their booking engine also shows Manchester. When does this flight start and what is the frequency?

And they use LCK as their Columbus airport dont they?

I wounder how long this venture will last. It started in March of '07, according to Wikipedia. It says on their website that they fly the 734 (two), yet all the photos of their planes on their site show the 732. Good first impression.

Failure to plan on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.

In my thread that was deleted I mentioned that the press release also mentioned twice weekly continuing service to PIE from PBG via MYR.

Here is the press release:

http://www.plattsburghinternationala...documents/MBDPressRelease_1_10.pdf

"Myrtle Beach Direct Air, an air service based in Myrtle Beach, SC announced new
non-stop jet service between Plattsburgh International Airport and Myrtle Beach, SC every Wednesday,
Saturday, and Sunday beginning March 15, 2008. Passengers may also continue onto St. Petersburg
/Clearwater, Florida two days a week with a brief stop in Myrtle Beach......

“We are confident that we can attract a large audience from the Montreal and Ottawa market, especially
with the exchange rate being so favorable.” said Ed Warneck, President of Myrtle Beach Direct Air. “We
believe our three weekly non-stop flights will appeal to the Canadian audience. Besides the savings with
low fares and the favorable exchange rate, the passenger benefits with additional savings of airport fees
and free parking in Plattsburgh. Due to low fares beginning at $99 each way, residents of both
communities will be able to fly with Myrtle Beach Direct Air on a more frequent basis.”

In terms of the planes they are using, the flights are handled by Xtra Airways.

Oddly enough the website timetable does not show the PIE extension to the Plattsburgh flights (but it is bookable)

Also does Myrtle Beach Direct Air and Allegiant affect the eligability of Plattsburgh for EAS

The flights used to be operated by SkyKing, which uses the 732.

Who is Sky King? I saw one of their planes, N332DL, at MIA a few weeks ago.

What is Myrtle Beach Air's web address?

A charter operator. Call sign Song Bird. No sign of Penny. If you don't understand any of this, ask your father.
