Me and some friends are flying to CPH in 2 weeks. AA MIA-LHR connecting with BA LHR-CPH. I need directions and tips where to go quick and save time to avoid missing the connection. From previous LHR experience, British immigration lines are long and the officers ask so many questions. Do AA and BA European flights share the same terminal? I have a feeliing that our luggages will be retrieved in LHR for customs and to be checked in again for the CPH flight----is this the norm over there? Any tips to save time appreciated. Our connection time is about 2 hours. Thanks in advance.

There is no need to enter the UK if you are in transit. But your bags must be tagged through to CPH. If you have one ticket this will be automatic, but if you hold separate tickets you must convince the AA check in to do it for you. AA arrives T3 and BA departs T1. There is an airside transfer bus.
If your bags are tagged to LHR, you must enter the UK, collect your bags, and take them to T1 and join the check in lines. I don't think you can do that in two hours. If you are walking to T1 landside follow the signs to the Underground and walk past the station and on to T1, Don't try and walk on street level with a suitcase, its madness.

As BCA2005 says, CPH flights on BA depart from T4.
AA will interline with BA, so your bags will be tagged all the way to CPH. Don't try to do any differently or it makes the journey much more difficult. Show them your BA e-ticket printout if you're not on the same ticket - they will certainly do this. They will also print your LHR-CPH boarding pass there.
When you arrive, follow signs for Flight Connections. This will take you to a transfer area, you will go through another security check and then a bus will take you airside to T4. You don't pick up your bags at all until you arrive in CPH.
