I believe the A380 in question was painted before the new style livery was announced.
The A380 in question will be re-painted into QF's new livery before it is delivered.

Which just goes to show how unnecessary the new livery is as the old one fits just fine...

Ummmmm................. Not exactly.

This aircraft is the one that prompted the livery adjustment in the first place. After applying the logo they discovered that the Kangaroo looked as though it's legs has been amputated due to the very large "No Paint Zones" around the horizontal stabilizer on the A380. The reason for the redesign was to bring the roo's feet forward so they would not look cut off regardless of future aircraft no paint zones.

I remember when the DC-3 was new!

Rumors say it will probably stop at DRS enroute to XFW. Any info about this? How sure will be the 14th as date of flight to Hamburg?

"No Paint Zones" around the horizontal stabilizer on the A380

does anyone know what the purpose of these no paint zones are?

Looks like MSN014 had it's first engine run yesterday, so this could be the first to be delivered.

MSN 014 has obviously left TLS and is heading towards XFW where it is believed to arrive this afternoon.
Does anybody know about the average time they stay at XFW before returning to TLS (trying to calculate on the basis of MSN 003 and MSN 005 makes no sense because they were transferred to XFW before all the delays occured)?
