After Norwegian Air Shuttle and Germanwings Austrian low cost airline Niki will start flights to Belgrade from Vienna on March 28, 2008. Tickets are already on sale. This will make a 5th daily flights from Belgrade to Vienna as Jat Airways and Austrian Airlines already operate this line.
Also Swiss starts Basel - Belgrade flights from March 28.

Quoting Luka (Thread starter): Also Swiss starts Basel - Belgrade flights from March 28.
SWISS will offer a weekend service: Flights will take place Saturday morning and Sunday evening, ideal for a nice weekend in Belgrade (...or in Basel )

Should we expect Air Berlin coming to BEG soon since Niki will start flights? Would be great to have a quick trip to Basel. Unfortunately visa restriction ((hopefully disappearing this spring according to our politicians) currently in force do not give us an opportunity to travel that much and so easy.

... and the main reason why other LCC have "frozen" their plans for Serbia flights. The lifting of Visas will undoubtedly have an impact on the number of European airlines serving BEG and hopefully INI as well.
