Does anyone have information about Delta changing the interiors of the 764 and 777? Weren't passengers having to get up so often (due to cramped conditions) that flight atendants were complaining about them always being in the aisles? Also, isn't the rumor that the type of seats are going to change but the pitch will remain the same?

I'd enjoy seeing the new seat as well. I understand they'll be supplied by Weber, a US manufacturer who has supplied DL in the past, fell out of favour for awhile, and is back in their good graces. I have heard through the grapevine that DL is annoyed with BE Aerospace, the supplier of the Business Elite seating, but I don't know what the issue is. Anyhow, it seems like 3-3-3 is ever popular for the 777, funny no one thought to try that in the late 70s when all the DC-10s and L1011s went to nine across in the 2-5-2 that all the 777 pax are carping about.

The new E/C enhancement mod will effect all new aircraft in the 757, 763ER's, 764's, 777, and 738 aircraft. The first aircraft to get the seats will be the 764's. There will be a slight config change to this aircraft to gain back some pitch at 12 seats (i.e. 31" to 32")
The 777 is going to 3-3-3- but you won't see this mod until our new crew rests go in later this year.
