I arrived today in Bucharest Otopeni and I was shocked to see that the B737 that collided with a car on the runway at the end of December 2007 last year is still laying in the grass next to the runway as shown in reply no 80 of this threat:
I am not aware of the safety regulations in such a case (the B737 is about 50 m next to the runway in the grass strip between the runway and the taxiway) but I am sure it doesn't help to raise the reputation of the airport or of TAROM.
Wouldn't they remove such an object at any other airport quickly?
