I was driving out of Riddle today and heard on the radio that an unnamed airline has approached the Prescott City Council about starting service between Prescott and LAX. anyone have any news or thoughts????
My guess would have to be Skywest/United Express but who knows maybe Horizon with a Q-400.

This news article says: While Mesa uses airplanes with 19 seats, Bristol said the new airline proposes using a 75-seat aircraft that would have a galley, flight attendants, and a restroom.

How would 75 passengers fit into PRC's current terminal, which barely holds 19 people as it is? Temporary Modular buildings?

Without higher subsidies, I don't see this happening. Heck, they only have twice daily IGM-PRC-PHX service on 19 seaters, let alone PRC only filling a 75 seater by themselves to LAX. Suppose maybe the airline will take the $250k and when it runs out bail out of the city.

What does skywest have thats a 75 seater? QX has the Q-400 which is either 74 or 76 seater, so it would be natural for people to say its a 75 seater.
