Someone went around and filmed, probably with a cell-phone.

I am a little bit surprised that you are allowed to go around like that and even tap an engine.
In any case, I fthink this video shows very well the amazing size of this aircraft, specially when the guy walks under the plane.

Hey nice video, I dont see why there is an issue with being so close if he had permission to be there anyway. I have stood in a aircraft engine before and had my pic taken but sadly not on a A380 !!!

Well... I understand that there is no danger in what this guy did but I believed that the engines (of any aircraft) were clearly off limits for all people not engaged in their maintenance and that there were restrictions for any other staff working on the apron.
Let me put it this way.... if I was part of the crew or the team that brought the A380 to Baires I wouldn't like to see from a window at a distance that a person is reaching for an engine, independently of the fact if this person is a security guy, a truck driver or a local engineer. He has no business there.

But I am afraid I might be a little picky here... In any case, some of the views are impressive,

regards
Erico
