Time lapse footage!

"The Duck plane will make its Eugene debut at 9 a.m. Tuesday, when it will be greeted at the Eugene Airport by UO cheerleaders, possibly the school band and by athletic department spokesman Joe Giansante."

Someone get some pictures!

I heard them mention that on the AAG earnings webcast. I wonder what the timeframe is.

This is a surprise! Why would QX bother repainting the CR7s in special schemes if this is the case? Why not put it on a plane QX intends to keep?

Because they would rather have 5 planes in the F9 scheme, as opposed to 9, and as a publicity stunt for short term marketing. Have you seen what a stir this is causing in these local towns as they unviel these airplanes? Why would they paint one of our 400s when they don't need it....they already say "Horizon"

At this stage it is just in the study stage, who knows what will be decided and when. So the CR7s will probably be around a couple of more years at least. Wouldn't make sense to let the aircraft stay in F9 livery for several more years.

BYU Sucks and the Utes aren't far behind. There's a reason the Mountain Worst Conference isn't a BCS conference and it has nothing to do with a NCAA conspiracy. The MWC is a joke. GO DUCKS!!

Being a diehard Beaver fan, I will admit the QB Justin Roper is the real deal!! The Ducks should have won the Civil War  Smile

But hey, anyone know when and where the Beaver jet will debut? The closest QX airport is EUG and I don't see that going over to well! Probably end up being PDX. CVO would be awesome even though QX doesn't fly there.

Just wait until BYU and Utah make the PAC-10 the PAC-12 (Think Arizona/Arizona State conspiracy since they are the biggest proponents of this!), and they kick the Ducks (or Beavers for that matter!) collective @$$es year in and year out! When a B6 A320 comes down in EUG, the Ducks and Beavers are in trouble since the cargo hold will be full of 12 gage shotguns or steel traps!

P.S. I agree the MWC is a bad joke, just as the WAC or any other below them. BYU, Utah and TCU are the only BCS caliber schools in the MWC. GO COUGARS!!!

I agree. Now if those 3 plus Fresno and Boise would start talking I could see the start of a new BCS league. With the addition of a few others that could be a league that could be strong top to bottom.  twocents

Although some of the Boise fans think they also deserve to have QX paint a BSU plane.

That is very much correct. The RJ will not go away completely... There are some routs in the system that the -400 are just not suited for, and the way I read it on the internal website, the RJ will not go away completely, they might just phase some of them out.

The -200 is actually going to stick around for a while longer... It looks like they will all be gone by the end of next year, if not before that.
