Whats Going On In MEM And BHM Today?

I was driving by CHA this morning and saw 4 SF3 parked at the gate, so I looked at flightaware and noticed that all four were diversions from MEM.

BNA also saw a SF3, while BHM saw a bunch of CRJ's, including the morning departure from CHA and TYS amoung

I was just curious as to what happened over there?


now I looked at flightaware and noticed that a UA CRJ from IAD-BHM diverted to CHA....

It was WX

MEM was at 1/4 sm and rvr 1400v2200 til about 1500z or 9am which is right in the first bank into MEM. The reason for all of the 9E and XJ diversions is the sabbs and some of 9E's crjs are not CAT II auth so they were unable to land. Mainline NWA is CAT II for the 9's and CAT III for the bus and 75.
