Does anyone plan on flying on New Year's Eve/New Years mornin this year? I was plannin on flying to LGW on new years.

Working in the IT industry - I don't think that there is too much to worry about regarding Aircraft/Operations/ATC - however the potentially damaging area lies with 3rd party suppliers, contractors and the like who may mot be quite y2K compliant as the operators themselves.

I wouldn't hesitate to fly on a major carrier to a major destination, however a connecting flight on a small carrier over say the amazon may be worth a second thought....
