A Boeing 757 belonging to Britannia of Sweden had to make an emergency landing at Göteborg (goethenburg)
Landvetter Airport.
The plane was on its way from Stockholm to Madrid and was carrying 240 passengers on board.after take off smoke filled the cabin and the captain decided to land at Gothenburg airport.
The plane landed safely and was met by several firetrucks and ambulances.

i read this in stockholm newspaper called Everyday.
Anybody heard anything about this??

A BY 757 only carries 229 Pax in Scandinavia.

This is about the seventh post I have had to correct about seating capacities on charter aircraft. They may be tight on leg room, but not THAT tight.

How about small children? They don't take up seats but are included in the pax list......
