I heard ATA will be purchasing, new 737-300's, 737-800's, 757-200's/It will be the North American launch customer for the 757-200, and 737-800 with winglets.
Any details?

They have ordered 10 757-300's and 39 737-800's (with winglets). They should begin taking delivery of those planes in the second quarter of this year.

They are the first North American airline to get the 757-300 and 737-800 with winglets.

Do not be suprised if we see ATA placing an order for the 767-400ER or LR.

ATA could not be getting new 737-300s since they're no longer produced. You surely meant North American launch for the 757-300, not -200.

I didn't know about those winglets. Are you sure? I mean, I have looked at all the photos of their planes, that is, the new 738s which were built and delivered this week. Let me try again. A couple have been built, one was delivered this week. But I didn't see any winglets. And I didn't know winglets were an option for the 753.

go to this link, it's a whole page taken by Sun Country employees of the new 738, which HAS been delivered. Sorry folks, but there are clearly no winglets on this aircraft.

I do remember reading somewhere that they were getting used -300s, 13 of them. Although don't take my word for it.

Winglets are an OPTION to the 738. SunCountry may not have ordered them on theirs, but ATA has. Vist

I had recalled reading that ATA would get the 737-700 instead of the 800, and the drawing had the 737-700 with winglets. I knew about the 757-300 and the 757-200s but I didn't hear anything about 737-300s.

When does ATA take delivery of the 757-300?

My source was Airliner World Magazine from Britain

I don't ever recall reading or hearing about new 737-700s or used 737-300s joining the fleet. It seems that the fleet renewal has always focused around the 757-300 and 737-800 with winglets. Regarding a widebody order, a leasing company (I don't recall the name but it wasn't ILFC) recently ordered 13 or so A330-200s which were rumored to be destined for ATA. I'll have to look up the press release.
