Very cool! They've sorta lost their 'hip' but are now focusing on the service. The co-marketing with Kraft probably meant nearly free food, so good job, B6!

Didn't they have something similar a few years ago?

So this stuff equates to "focusing on the service" as opposed to becoming more like any other joke of an airline?

Looks to me like they're becoming one of the lemmings. If nothing sets them apart they're just another carrier flying to NYC... and we already have a whole bunch of those... most of whom are tied into international mileage alliances.

Don't know if they are still do it, but I know on red eye flights, they would give a travel pack from Bliss products  angel .

I remember seeing their display for headsets at AUS and didn't really understand the difference between the regular and the upgrade headset. Granted, I haven't flown on a B6 flight yet.

Do they still offer Dunkin Donut coffee? The Kraft breakfast and DD coffee ...  yummy

I guess it was just a matter of time until B6 too, started to nickle-and-dime its customers. Do the passengers at least get to keep the pillow and blanket? If not, that would be called "renting", not buying.

Logo on the blanket (and/or pillow)? Or are they just generic. At least blue I'd hope?

Oh well, let's just get technical. No one can mistake the fact that the majority of airlines do not offer this service. Especially when its at the gate.

This should be interesting to come across the next time I walk on down Concourse C at PIT.  Smile

I'm not huge with bagels and cream cheese either, but at least you are getting more than what other airlines will give you a majority of the time.

Quite possibly completely free. This also means they will get Philadelphia Cream Cheese, which is always the way to go.

Well, I don't see the excitement in weak, over-roasted coffee. To each their own  Wink

Yea, I would like a morning flight to JFK with the bagel and lox, if you please, and a chai latte.  Smile

Hey, it's also rumored that they might add a FLA flight from PIT soon... to help offset the costs of the gates and fees and what not...

Cool! Pillows will be nice and breakfast will be too. I hope all this works out. This will probably attract some more pax.

Yeah, I agree. I was merely pointing out the fact that they are starting to codeshare which is just 1 more way they are becoming like every other airline. The B6 I left in Nov. of 07 was VERY different from the B6 I started working for in 06.

I have to admit, I've never flown on a LCC, but I didn't realize that there were airlines out there that did not provide pillows and blankets, complimentary. In the last year I've flown AA, NW, TP, LH, KL. They all offered pillows and blankets.

You must have flown AA trans-atlantic or trans-pacific only, because they pulled pillows off all domestic, Northern Latin American, Caribbean and Trans-Border flights 3 years ago.
