What a great airport! My wife and I were there last week, and I found the airport a well run delight. I was surprised, but then not, to find out it was privately owned.
PG serves a small snack on their 50 minute flights to and from BKK. Amazing!

Because TG are paying through the nasal cavity for timings that PG have already shown they are struggling to fill most days - early in the morning and very late at night etc. PG worked out that they could make an awful lot more money selling the timings to TG than operating them themselves. I imagine they got a great deal - its not been set in stone yet but i imagine it will go ahead soon.
TG will be using their 734 there and PG's A319 and 717 is a much superior product - PG absolutely destroy TG's in flight service when you fly domestic. There is just no comparison. People will be able to fly PG cheaper, on better timings, and with a far better product. Their lounge at BKK is open to all their pax and its very nice indeed. TG have nothing comparable and are only offering the service to connect to the heavies arriving from Europe - they'll do ok with that strategy, but would I book them if i had the choice between them or PG to USM - unless they were using the 772ER, A345 or A346 - then no.
What do you mean you dont have any bourbon? Do you know how far it is to Houston? What kind of airline is this???

You got the offpeak flight then - peak time they serve a full (cold) meal.
Last time I flew them (four day old A319!!) I had a lovely chicken tikka salad for starter, coronation chicken, rice, ham and melon pieces for main, and a lemon cheesecake for dessert, all washed down with an orange juice. Nice!

USM? so that means I can now finally non-rev to Samui

Unless you're on a connecting international flight. I know that from Scandinavia, an extra domestic round-trip ticket is often around 60 dollars on top of the ticket to Bangkok.

My wife and I are flying PG from BKK to USM in a couple of months. Our flight is currently scheduled as a 717, so I'm really looking forward to that flight!
I'm also hoping to take one of their ATRs for a day trip to Phuket for a day's spotting, but I'm still negotiating that one!
