Looks like it wasn't quite an icestorm at the time, but a very cold rain. The 300 ft broken deck didn't help either I'm sure. With the calm winds reported the best approach seems to be the GPS to 36... with 500-1 mins. One report said it occurred during a missed approach... and going missed looks quite likely with the approach mins compared to those conditions.

Yes, we had an ice storm last night, leaving the trees drooping with ice, but that shouldn't have affected the flight in question. There was a light rain this morning which could have possibly had some freezing rain mixed in, but I still don't see that being a contributing factor.
