Edit: upon further review of flightaware, I now wonder how it only took a king air an hour to get from Texas to North Dakota.

That's nothing odd. It's only 841nm. At my other job, I take care of a King Air 200 that does MWC to Ocean Reef (Key Largo) 1132 nm. As for the trip time...it looks like it took 1hr 55mins which is still amazing time for that length and winds.

Keep in mind there are times Flightaware.com is not always completely accurate. I find that if a flight track is not complete (as in the example above), the total flight duration is not always accurate.
