International Arrivals At B6's New JFK Terminal

Will the new B6 terminal at JFK be capable of processing international arrivals? If not, does anyone know whether the terminal has been designed to allow for the retrofit of international arrivals facilities in the future, should they ever be needed?

If you mean the old TWA terminal, why wouldn't it be able to process int'l arrivals? TWA's flights all came into there and I flew from ATH countless times.

Or is it simply that the facilities won't be open or fitted with whatever equipment they will need?

They basically redid the entire terminal area (minus the Saarinen part) so the international arrivals area was most likely not included in this design stage since the cost would have outweighed the benefits (B6 has very few international flights that don't preclear, so for those handful of flights it's not difficult to deplane over at T4 and tow over to T5/6)

Yea, but why would they build an entirely new terminal, without including international flight departure and arrival requirments? As far as them having few international flights thats just for now, the # is growing, and eventually T4 will run out of space.

Yes.

Does anyone know how this will work? Where in the new portion of the terminal will they be able to retrofit for FIS facilities, etc.?
