Nice one, thanks for putting it on.
I think the cat's got an instructor's rating - notice how it keeps looking round at critical points to make sure the pilot's getting the approach right?

My first thoughts are what if the cat jumps onto the control column or hits a switch of some sort, or perhaps jumps into the face of the pilot.....
To me, it doesn't seem too smart to have an untethered animal in the cockpit. I wouldn't want one on the dash, or even the front seat area of my car either. My pets (dogs) are confined to the back seat where they can't interfere. That aviator kitty should be in a crate.
Direct KNOBS, maintain 2700' until established on the localizer, cleared ILS runway 26 left approach.

Pretty smart kitty. Looked like he adjusted his stance just before touchdown to make sure he did not slide off the dash.

You'd be surprised actually, your dog is far more likely to kill you if it's on the back seat - if you have to break sharply then it will carry on and impact the front passenger seats, either braking your back or crushing you against the steering column or windshield.
I'm sure the pilot knows his cat, and by the looks of it the cat is completely used to it and having a great time.

You know ... you would think this ... and physics pretty much demands this ... but when I was a kid, and we had a front-end collision in the family minivan, guess what was the only thing in the entire vehicle -- and we were fully packed for a day @ the lake -- that didn't go flying forward (excluding the humans in their seat belts) ?

I have a feeling that cat has flown many trips to be that calm and sitting on the dash. I assure you it wasnt his first ride in a plane

That looks like a Bengal cat. And yes he does seem quite subdued with all the noise. Perhaps the owner can invest in a cat radio headset and let the cat call the tower. It looks like the cat was a little shaken (both literally and figuratively) by the "firm" landing though hard to tell due to camera shake. Very cool though.
indeed. Now can they lower the landing gear instead of always landing on their feet?
Cool video. I chuckled a bit when it gave its commentary. It seems so calm and submissive. I only wish I could do that with my dogs in anything that moves.
